This section of the website offers cross-curricular resources for both child and adult education.
This type of learning is an essential part of a person's education, to help him/her make sense of the world they live in.
It helps people to draw on experiences and knowledge from other subjects to help them understand new ideas in more depth. It helps make lessons relevant to all people, not just those who are particularly engaged in a particular subject. In addition, it develops research and problem-solving skills, and encourages students to work in a team, which is such an important skill for the workplace. Furthermore, since Literacy and Numeracy are so important to the development of a child, it seems logical to incorporate them into as many different types of lessons as possible.
This section of the website offers teaching ideas and online resources including lesson ideas, interactive whiteboard resources, activities and games, free videos, video tutorials, and ideas for group projects.
The theme-based topics below will link together music, art, drama, dance, arts and crafts, literacy, numeracy, history, design and technology, geography, religious studies, information and communication technology, film-making and animation.
These creative curriculum ideas foster student engagement, progressive problem-based learning, cooperative learning, and a sense of community.
